SCBX is now accepting applications for the Graduate Overseas Scholarship 2025—a unique opportunity to pursue a Master’s or Ph.D. degree abroad. This fully funded program is open to talented SCBX Group employees and high-potential external candidates, and is designed to accelerate your professional growth and leadership journey within the SCBX Group.

Program Overview

The SCBX Overseas Scholarship offers fully funded scholarships to high-potential Thai talents—both current SCBX Group employees and external candidates—who aspire to pursue a Master’s or Ph.D. degree at a top-tier overseas university.

This program is tailored for individuals who are passionate about technology, innovation, and possess a bold vision to lead change. Whether you’re an internal employee or an emerging leader from outside the organization, this scholarship is your launchpad to elevate your career, deepen your expertise, and bring global perspectives back to fuel SCBX’s future.

Full Program Support

A fully funded scholarship covering 100% of all expenses throughout the program, including:

  • University application fees, tuition fees, and health insurance (as required by the university)
  • Monthly personal living allowance
  • Miscellaneous expenses such as airfare, visa fees, medical check-ups, computer equipment, luggage, and clothing, as specified by SCBX

Opportunities to engage with leading tech companies and intern within SCBX Group

Guidance and support from top-tier experts across SCBX Group and partner organizations

Participation in a personal development program with specialized mentorship and coaches

Career acceleration within the SCBX Group

Scholarship Conditions and Repayment Terms

Recipients must sign a scholarship agreement and provide a qualified guarantor.

Recipients must complete their studies within:

  • 2 years for a Master’s degree
  • 5 years for a Ph.D. degree
  • or within the official duration specified by the academic institution

Service Commitment: Upon graduation, recipients must work at their assigned sponsoring company within the SCBX Group for 1.5 times the duration of their study program.

If the full service commitment is not fulfilled, recipients must repay the total scholarship amount along with a penalty of 1.5 times the disbursed amount and interests as specified by SCBX.

Partial employment durations will not reduce the repayment obligation.

Eligible Applicants

Talented SCBX Group Employees
High-Potential External Candidates
  • Hold at least the minimum educational qualification required by the academic institution.
  • Be a full-time employee within the SCBX Group.
  • Have at least 2 years of service.
  • Demonstrate a strong performance record (minimum rating: “Very Good”).
  • Receive formal endorsement from their current SCBX Group employer.
  • Have a proven track record of outstanding achievements and leadership potential to drive organizational impact.
  • Be accepted to or hold an unconditional offer from a world-class university.
  • Hold at least the minimum educational qualification required by the academic institution.
  • Demonstrate a strong performance record (for those with work experience).
  • Show strategic growth potential in innovation and technology.
  • Have a proven track record of outstanding achievements and leadership potential to drive organizational impact.
  • Be accepted to or hold an unconditional offer from a world-class university.

Fields of study must align with SCBX Group’s strategic directions, such as:

Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM), Innovation, Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Computational Finance, Operations Research, Digitalization, or related specialized fields.

Selection Process

Stage 1: Initial Pre-Screening
Applicants must complete the application form in full to ensure they meet the eligibility criteria.

Stage 2: Document Submission
Shortlisted candidates will be asked to submit required documents.

Stage 3: Assessment
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete an assessment.

Stage 4: Interview
Qualified candidates will attend an interview with the Scholarship Committee.

Stage 5: Pitching
Candidates will present their learning and development plan, outlining how it supports their career growth and contributes to the sponsoring company.

Stage 6: Final Evaluation
Finalists will be thoroughly evaluated before the selection decision is made.
