SCBX Mid-Year Reset: Longevity & Well-being

Empowering employees to reset, recharge, and build healthier everyday habits

SCBX hosted the Mid-Year Reset: SCBX Longevity & Well-being activity as part of its ongoing commitment to adopting a sustainable workplace where employees can perform, grow, and thrive with balance. More than a one-day wellness event, the activity was designed as an opportunity for employees to pause, reconnect with their health, and gain practical knowledge that supports long-term well-being in both work and life.

Throughout the day, employees took part in a wide range of activities covering physical health, mental recovery, eye care, skin health, movement, rest, and daily lifestyle habits. The event created an engaging space for employees to learn from experts, experience hands-on health checks, and explore small but meaningful actions they can bring into their everyday routines.

The activity also featured interactive elements such as the Wellness Passport, which encouraged employees to participate in different sessions and collect points toward special rewards, and the Wellness Board, where employees shared their favorite sports and physical activities through sticker voting. These simple yet meaningful moments helped foster connection, spark conversations around healthy lifestyles, and reinforce a culture where well-being is part of the shared employee experience.

By bringing together learning, participation, and practical well-being experiences, SCBX Mid-Year Reset reflects the company’s belief that employee well-being is a foundation for sustainable performance. When employees are supported to care for their physical and mental health, they are better equipped to bring energy, resilience, and purpose to their work—contributing to a healthier organization and a more sustainable workplace for everyone.

Program overview

Throughout the event, employees were invited to visit the Eye Check-up, Body Check-up, and Brain Check-up booths for health assessments designed to help them better understand their bodies and use the insights gained to plan more appropriate personal health care routines.

The activity was organized into three main parts, enabling employees to take a holistic approach to well-being—from understanding their health through check-ups, to learning from experts, and finally applying healthy practices in everyday life.

Part 1: Health Screening & Physical Check-up

“Know Your Body, Know Your Health”

The day began by encouraging employees to better understand their bodies through three health screening sessions:

Brain Check-up
A brain health and cognitive assessment session designed to raise awareness of brain care, memory, focus, and mental readiness—important foundations for both work performance and daily life.

Eye Check-up
An eye health screening session to help employees assess potential vision concerns and learn how to care for their eyes, especially for those who spend long hours working with computers or digital devices.

Body Check-up
A physical health assessment session that helped employees better understand their bodies and use the information received to plan suitable personal health and wellness routines.

Part 2: Wellness Talks

“Health and Skin Longevity, Eye Care & Office Syndrome Recovery”

The wellness talks featured insights from experts and covered health topics closely connected to employees’ modern work and lifestyle needs.

Longevity and Burnout Recovery
Employees learned about the importance of quality rest and sleep, as well as practical ways to manage accumulated fatigue and burnout. The session emphasized how proper recovery supports both the body and mind, helping employees restore energy for work and life.

Healthy Eyes and Dry Eye Recovery
This session focused on eye care and preventing dry eye symptoms caused by extended use of computers and digital devices. Employees also learned simple ways to rest their eyes and adjust screen habits for better long-term eye health.

Office Syndrome Recovery
Employees learned techniques to prevent and relieve office syndrome caused by prolonged sitting and repetitive work postures, including stretching, muscle relaxation, and ergonomic adjustments to support better workplace health.

Longevity Beauty: Holistic Skincare
The session introduced a holistic approach to skincare, offering guidance on maintaining healthy-looking skin and understanding age-related changes, including skin firmness and overall skin vitality.

Part 3: Healthy Habit in Action

“Eat Well • Move More • Live Better”

After a full day of learning from doctors and wellness experts across preventive health, eye care, office syndrome recovery, and holistic skincare, the final part of the event encouraged employees to move from learning into action. Good health is not built through knowledge alone; it requires consistent practice that becomes part of everyday life.

The Healthy Habit in Action session welcomed VJ Ja–Natthaweeranuch Thongmee, a host, actress, and inspiring advocate for healthy living, to share her personal experience and practical mindset for building sustainable health habits. Known for her active lifestyle and discipline in exercise, she offered relatable guidance that employees could apply in their daily routines.

During the session, she shared how she began taking health more seriously, the inspiration behind her journey, and how she maintains discipline in exercising consistently. Her message encouraged employees to view well-being not as a short-term goal, but as a long-term lifestyle commitment.

Another key topic was nutrition and daily energy balance. She shared perspectives on food choices, calorie awareness, adjusting food portions to match activity levels, and allowing oneself to enjoy favorite foods in moderation without creating unnecessary pressure.

She also shared her daily routine, including exercise, rest, and preparation for HYROX competitions. Her experience highlighted the importance of planning, consistency, understanding one’s physical limits, and allowing the body time to recover. For beginners, she recommended starting gradually with personal goals that are realistic and sustainable.

A key takeaway from the session was the idea of a Recreational Active Lifestyle—choosing physical activities that match each person’s interests and lifestyle, whether Pilates, tennis, badminton, running, weight training, or after-work fitness classes. This approach helps make movement enjoyable rather than burdensome, supporting long-term consistency.

The session concluded with SCBX employees moving, stretching, and relaxing their muscles together—turning the day’s knowledge and inspiration into real action. The activity reinforced the idea that health does not have to begin with a major change; it can start with small, personal habits practiced consistently every day.

Employee participation throughout the day reflected how health and well-being are everyday matters that everyone can start taking care of from today.
