Bangkok, May 16, 2025 – SCB 10X, the disruptive technology investment arm of SCBX Group, today announced the appointment of Kaweewut Temphuwapat as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective May 16, 2025. In his new role, Kaweewut will lead SCB 10X’s next phase of exponential growth as it continues to invest in frontier technologies and drive innovation on a global scale. Today, SCB10X has invested and managed assets over $600M globally.
Kaweewut will concurrently retain his role as Chief Innovation Officer of SCBX. Holding both roles will create powerful synergies between SCBX’s long-term innovation strategy and SCB 10X’s venture investment activities, strengthening the group’s innovation capabilities, accelerating execution, and driving competitiveness across the SCBX ecosystem.
Over the past decade, prior to assuming the CEO position at SCB 10X, Kaweewut has accumulated extensive experience and expertise in innovation, new business incubation, fostering innovation-centric corporate cultures, and venture capital fund management in leading organizations within SCBX Group as well as in the energy sector.
Kaweewut holds a Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honors from Chulalongkorn University, and an MBA from Stanford University, with extensive experiences at Stanford d.school.
